Ruby Joy Eade
'i can feel your pain and your feelings'
Exhibition: 6th-23rd June 2014

Artist statement

Finding earnestness and sincerity in an online world where intimate and personal connections seem few and far between.  Feelings of love, loss, hope, desperation, resignation, resentment , vulnerability, confusion. The need for reassurance. The comfort of a reminder that other people feel this way too.  Looking beyond the cynical surface of contemporary society to find moments of poetic and empathetic language lost in a sea of forums, tweets and status updates. The 'realness' of a moment never intended to be art.
