Exhibiting at Gilberd Marriott Gallery
(This info will be updated soon for Courtenay Galleries. There will be an exhibition fee (including assistance with curation and installation) and a gallery fee (the gallery room plus staffing and associated services). GMG is a flexible gallery space offering established and emerging artists exhibiting opportunities in Wellington. The gallery shares rooms with Photospace Gallery and operates part time (not continuously all year). We are interested in hearing from artists working in 2D and 3D media, including paintings, prints, sculpture, installations, video art, ceramics, jewellery. We have a certain amount of space available for new exhibitors, and the different rooms are used according to what fits best where (see plans below). When applying for an exhibition, please include some background on yourself (a brief artist bio), info about the body of work you want to show, and attach some examples in JPEG format. Links to specific works on a website are fine as well.
